Acceptable Use Policy
OptimizeMyLife — Félix
Effective July 14, 2026
OptimizeMyLife is operated by 9569-7173 Québec inc., doing business as OptimizeMyLife ("we", "us", "our"). Our registered address is 780 chemin du lac Brompton, Orford, Québec, J1X 6L7, Canada. You can reach us any time at support@optimizemylife.ai.
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") sets the rules for how you may and may not use OptimizeMyLife and Félix, our AI companion and personal assistant, across every way you reach it — the web chat, the mobile app, the desktop app, and our Telegram bot and Mini App (together, the "Service"). It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service, and it works alongside our Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms we don't define here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
We kept this readable on purpose. It is not a trap and it is not filler — every rule below exists to keep the Service safe, legal, and useful for everyone. By creating an account, activating a FOX key, or using the Service in any way, you agree to this AUP. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
If this AUP and the Terms of Service ever conflict on a question of acceptable use, this AUP controls for that question; on all other questions, the Terms of Service govern.
1. The basic deal — scope and responsibility
1.1. You may use Félix for your own lawful personal or internal business purposes, consistent with the licence granted in the Terms of Service. In return, you agree not to misuse the Service, harm other people, break the law, or put our systems — or anyone else's — at risk.
1.2. This AUP applies to everyone who uses the Service, on any device or channel, whether or not you pay — including account holders, people who use the Service under someone else's FOX key, guests, trial users, and anyone acting on your behalf.
1.3. You are responsible for every use of the Service that happens under your FOX key or account, and for making sure anyone you allow to use the Service follows this AUP. Their violation is treated as your violation.
1.4. Early preview. The Service is offered as an early preview and is still evolving. Nothing in this AUP promises features, safeguards, or protections that do not exist today. Félix can be wrong, incomplete, or unavailable, and he is not a substitute for professional judgment. Where this AUP describes what is prohibited, those prohibitions apply in full regardless of the preview status.
2. Your FOX key and your identity
2.1. Your access and your identity are tied to a FOX key. There is no separate password. Anyone who holds your FOX key can reach your account, your conversations with Félix, and anything you have connected. Treat your FOX key like the key to your home: keep it private, store it securely, and never share it with anyone you do not fully trust.
2.2. You must not:
- sell, rent, lease, sublicense, publish, or otherwise transfer your FOX key or account access to others, except as expressly permitted in writing by us;
- pool, share, or rotate a single FOX key or account across multiple people or organizations to avoid paying for the seats or plans that use would require;
- collect, harvest, guess, brute-force, or otherwise attempt to obtain another person's FOX key;
- use the Service under a FOX key you are not authorized to use, or access an account that is not yours; or
- impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation, through the Service.
2.3. You must tell us immediately at support@optimizemylife.ai if you believe your FOX key has been lost, exposed, or used without your permission. Until you do, activity under your FOX key is your responsibility, except to the extent applicable law — including mandatory consumer-protection law — provides otherwise.
3. General principles
Use the Service lawfully, honestly, and with respect for other people and for the systems that make it work. In short: don't break the law, don't harm others, don't misuse other people's data, don't attack or overload our systems, don't resell or scrape the Service, and don't dress up Félix's output as something it isn't. The rest of this AUP spells out what that means.
4. Prohibited uses
You must not use the Service, and must not allow anyone to use the Service under your FOX key, to do, attempt, facilitate, or encourage any of the following.
4.1. Illegal activity
- Break any applicable law, regulation, sanction, or court order, in Canada, Québec, or wherever you are located or the Service is used.
- Plan, carry out, promote, or assist any criminal offence, including fraud, scams, identity theft, money laundering, terrorist financing, trafficking (in people, drugs, weapons, or other illegal goods), or the sale of illegal goods or services.
- Violate trade, export-control, or economic-sanctions laws, or use the Service in, or for the benefit of, a country, region, entity, or person subject to comprehensive sanctions.
- Evade taxes or facilitate tax evasion.
Because our users may be anywhere in the world, you are also responsible for complying with the laws of your own country and region, in addition to those of Québec and Canada.
4.2. Harm to people
- Threaten, harass, stalk, bully, intimidate, dox, defame, or incite violence against any person or group.
- Promote or facilitate self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Produce, solicit, or distribute content that sexually exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors in any form. We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities and terminate the account immediately.
- Generate or spread hate speech or content that demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.
- Produce, share, or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual content involving real people without their consent, or content designed to sexually harass.
Félix is not an emergency service. If you or someone you know is in danger or crisis, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.
4.3. Rights of others
- Infringe anyone's intellectual-property rights, including copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or moral rights.
- Violate anyone's privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or data-protection rights.
- Upload, submit, or process personal information about other people that you have no lawful right or consent to use, or that you are not permitted to disclose to the Service and its providers.
If you believe content on or generated through the Service infringes your intellectual-property rights, you can report it to support@optimizemylife.ai with enough detail to identify the work and the material at issue; we will review and respond, including under any applicable notice regime.
4.4. Deception and abuse of AI
- Create or spread disinformation, fraudulent schemes, phishing, scams, fake reviews, or content designed to deceive people about who or what is behind it.
- Generate synthetic media (including deepfakes) of real people intended to deceive, defame, defraud, or harm.
- Use the Service to develop, train, benchmark, or improve any competing AI model, product, dataset, or service, including by systematically extracting or capturing model outputs, prompts, weights, or embeddings for that purpose.
- Deliberately try to make Félix produce prohibited content — for example through "jailbreaks," prompt injection, or attempts to bypass safety or usage limits — or use the Service in a way meant to circumvent these rules.
- Strip out, hide, or misstate the AI-generated nature of content where the law, a platform, or the context requires that it be disclosed.
4.5. Dangerous and high-risk uses
- Obtain or provide instructions for weapons (including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or high-yield explosive weapons), or for causing large-scale harm.
- Use the Service, or rely on Félix's output, to make consequential decisions in high-risk domains — such as medical diagnosis or treatment, legal filings, financial or tax decisions, emergency response, safety-critical systems, or the operation of critical infrastructure — without independent verification and qualified human oversight. The Service is not designed, certified, or authorized for these uses.
4.6. Spam, unsolicited messaging, and malicious code
- Send spam, chain messages, bulk unsolicited communications, or any messaging that violates anti-spam laws, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
- Use the Service, including any connected channel (such as a connected Gmail, Slack, or Telegram), to send abusive, deceptive, or unsolicited automated messages.
- Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, viruses, worms, or other malicious code, or deliver links or files intended to harm recipients.
4.7. Resale, scraping, and competing services
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially exploit the Service or any part of it, or offer it as your own product or a competing service, except as we expressly authorize in writing.
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, index, cache, or systematically extract content, data, or outputs from the Service by any automated or manual means, except through interfaces we provide for that purpose and within their documented limits.
- Frame, mirror, white-label, or embed the Service or its outputs in a way that misrepresents their source or our involvement.
- Create accounts or FOX keys by automated means, or register accounts to abuse trials, founder discounts, or promotions.
4.8. Systems integrity and security
- Access the Service, or an account, through any means other than the interfaces and credentials we provide, or attempt to access areas, features, data, or accounts you are not authorized to reach, or exfiltrate data you have no right to.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system or network without our prior written authorization.
- Interfere with, disrupt, degrade, or overload the Service or its infrastructure, including through denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or excessive automated requests.
- Circumvent, disable, or tamper with any authentication, rate limit, usage meter, security, or access-control measure — including anything protecting FOX keys, other users' data, or our providers' systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, or attempt to derive its source code, model weights, prompts, or underlying components, except to the narrow extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
5. AI output — no passing it off as verified professional advice
5.1. Félix's replies are generated by third-party AI engines (for example, models reached through OpenRouter). Félix can be wrong, incomplete, out of date, or confidently mistaken. Output is not reviewed, verified, or approved by a human at OptimizeMyLife before you see it.
5.2. Félix is not a doctor, lawyer, accountant, tax preparer, financial advisor, or therapist, and nothing Félix says is professional medical, legal, financial, tax, or therapeutic advice. For decisions that affect your health, money, legal situation, or safety, check Félix's output yourself and consult a qualified professional.
5.3. You must not:
- present, publish, resell, forward, or attribute Félix's output as if it were human-verified, professionally reviewed, licensed, certified, or authoritative advice, a professional opinion, or the work of a licensed practitioner;
- represent that OptimizeMyLife, a human expert, or a licensed professional stands behind, endorsed, or checked a given output when that is not the case;
- use Félix's output to give regulated advice to others (medical, legal, financial, tax, or similar) without the independent review and sign-off of a properly qualified, licensed professional who takes responsibility for it; or
- strip, hide, or misstate the AI-generated nature of the output when you share it with others, in any context where doing so could mislead them.
5.4. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding how to act on anything Félix produces, and for any consequences of relying on it.
6. Connected accounts and third-party data
6.1. You may choose to connect certain accounts and data sources so Félix can help you — for example Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, GitHub, Slack, bank data through Plaid, weather (Open-Meteo), and travel times through Google Maps. For these connectors, Félix's access is read-only, limited to what you connect, and used only to assist you as described where you set up the connection.
6.2. When you connect a source, you represent and warrant that:
- you own the account, or are authorized to connect it and to allow the Service to access the data in it;
- connecting it, and letting the Service and its providers process that data, does not break any law, contract, workplace policy, or the terms of the source itself; and
- you will not connect accounts or data belonging to other people, or to your employer or a third party, without the right and any consent needed to do so.
6.3. Google data. Our access to and use of data from Google services (including Gmail and Google Calendar) complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use that data only to provide and improve the user-facing features you asked for, and we do not transfer it or use it for advertising, for training generalized or non-personalized AI models, or for any purpose beyond those features. If we are ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data from your connected Google accounts is transferred only in accordance with your consent and the Google API Services User Data Policy.
6.4. Bank data. Bank connections are handled by Plaid. OptimizeMyLife never receives or stores your banking login credentials. Félix gets read-only access to balances and transactions — never the ability to make payments or transfers. You must use bank connections only for your own accounts, or accounts you are authorized to access, and in accordance with Plaid's applicable requirements and end-user terms.
6.5. Actions that spend your money or time. Any action that would commit your money or your time — for example sending a message, scheduling an event, or making a purchase — requires your explicit, specific, per-action approval before it happens. You must not configure, prompt, script, or trick the Service into taking such actions automatically or silently without your informed consent, and you must not use the Service to take such actions on behalf of another person without their authorization.
6.6. Your use of any connected third-party service remains governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their handling of your data on their side.
7. Age and minors
7.1. The Service is intended for adults. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction to hold your own account and pay for the Service.
7.2. We do not create accounts for children, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information. Content for kids and teens is parent-mediated by design: a responsible adult sets it up and supervises it. If you enable or supervise the Service for a minor, you do so as the responsible adult and you are accountable for that use under this AUP.
7.3. The AI agent features are 18+, and Félix's assistant and installer powers are not available to minors. You must not use the Service to give a minor access to features restricted to adults, to collect a child's personal information other than as permitted for parent-mediated content, or to route minors around these limits.
8. Billing integrity and consumer protection
8.1. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel any time; one-time powers and lifetime packs are charged as described where you buy them. Charges are billed in the currency shown at checkout (USD unless otherwise stated). The full billing, cancellation, and refund terms — including the 14-day, pro-rated-to-usage refund window described there — are in the Terms of Service and the Refund & Billing Policy. As a matter of acceptable use, you must not:
- use stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulent payment methods;
- file bad-faith chargebacks or payment disputes for charges you actually authorized and access you actually used (this does not affect your genuine legal and consumer-protection rights); or
- abuse refunds, founder discounts, or one-time powers through manipulation, duplicate accounts, or misrepresentation.
8.2. Payments are handled by our processors (Stripe, with LemonSqueezy as a backup). We do not store full payment-card numbers. Consistent with Québec's Consumer Protection Act, we do not add a surcharge, "card fee," or other extra charge to consumers for paying by card.
8.3. Exercising a right you hold under mandatory consumer or privacy law is never itself a violation of this AUP, and never triggers a new charge.
9. Fair use, capacity, and automated access
9.1. Paid plans and powers are provided for your own reasonable use as described where you buy them. We may apply rate limits, usage meters, and technical safeguards to keep the Service reliable for everyone.
9.2. You must not use automated tools, scripts, bots, or integrations against the Service except through interfaces we expressly provide, and you must not use any method to exceed, evade, or disguise your actual usage, or to impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.
10. Security research and responsible disclosure
We welcome good-faith reports of security issues. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it promptly and privately to support@optimizemylife.ai and give us a reasonable opportunity to address it before disclosing it to anyone else. Do not access, alter, or delete data that is not yours, do not degrade the Service, and do not exploit the issue beyond the minimum needed to demonstrate it. Testing that stays within these bounds, is limited to your own account, and is reported responsibly will not be treated by us as a violation of this AUP or pursued by us as a legal matter.
11. Monitoring and enforcement
11.1. We are not obligated to monitor use of the Service, and — as explained in our Privacy Policy — humans at OptimizeMyLife do not read your conversations with Félix. But we may investigate suspected violations of this AUP, and we may access, review, or preserve information to the extent reasonably necessary to do so, to keep the Service and its users safe, or to comply with the law or a lawful request.
11.2. If we believe you have violated this AUP, the Terms of Service, or the law, or that your use puts the Service, other users, third parties, or us at risk, we may, at our reasonable discretion and to the extent permitted by law:
- issue a warning and ask you to stop;
- remove, restrict, or disable access to offending content or connections;
- throttle, suspend, or limit your access to some or all of the Service, including specific features, powers, or connectors;
- disable a FOX key;
- terminate your account and this licence to use the Service; and/or
- preserve and, where the law requires or permits, report the activity to law-enforcement or other authorities or affected third parties.
11.3. We will aim to match the response to the seriousness of the violation, and to give notice where it is reasonable and lawful to do so. For serious violations — including anything that is illegal, endangers people (such as child sexual abuse material), threatens security, involves active attacks on our systems, or exposes us to liability — we may act immediately and without prior notice.
11.4. Effect on paid plans. If we suspend or terminate your access because you violated this AUP, you are not entitled to a refund for the period affected, except to the extent a refund is required by applicable law or your mandatory consumer-protection rights (see Section 15). This does not change your ordinary cancellation and refund rights described in the Terms of Service and the Refund & Billing Policy — including the 14-day, pro-rated-to-usage refund window — when you have not violated this AUP. Termination does not relieve you of obligations that survive it, including amounts owed and responsibility for prior conduct.
11.5. If you think we have acted in error, write to support@optimizemylife.ai and we will take a fresh look.
11.6. Survival. Sections of this AUP that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 2.3, 5, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 — continue to apply after your access ends or this AUP is terminated.
12. Reporting abuse, privacy concerns, and your data rights
12.1. Reporting abuse. If you encounter content or behavior on the Service that violates this AUP — harassment, illegal content, security issues, intellectual-property infringement, exposed personal data, or misuse of your FOX key — please report it to support@optimizemylife.ai. Include enough detail for us to locate and understand the issue (what you saw, where, and when), and please don't include more sensitive personal data than necessary. We review reports and take the action we consider appropriate. Reporting a concern does not create any obligation on us to reach a particular outcome, and we will handle your report consistently with our Privacy Policy.
12.2. No retaliation. We do not allow retaliation against anyone who reports a genuine, good-faith concern.
12.3. Privacy Officer. Our Privacy Officer / Responsable de la protection des renseignements personnels is Maxime Jodoin, who is responsible for our compliance with applicable privacy law and can be reached at support@optimizemylife.ai. The name and title of the individual holding this role are published here and disclosed on request, consistent with Québec's Law 25.
12.4. Confidentiality incidents. Consistent with Québec's Law 25, Canada's PIPEDA, and other applicable privacy laws, if a confidentiality incident (a privacy or security breach) creates a risk of serious harm, we will assess it, notify the affected individuals and the competent regulators (including the Commission d'accès à l'information) as the law requires, and keep the records — including a register of confidentiality incidents — that the law requires.
12.5. Your data rights. Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, rectify, port, or de-index your personal information, withdraw a consent, obtain information about automated decision-making, or complain to your data-protection authority. These rights — and how to exercise them — are described in our Privacy Policy; privacy requests can be sent to support@optimizemylife.ai. Where they apply to you, we honour the rights guaranteed by Law 25, PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA in California, among others.
13. Your warranties and indemnification
13.1. You represent and warrant that your use of the Service complies with this AUP and with all applicable laws, and that you have all rights and consents needed for any content, accounts, or data you submit or connect.
13.2. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OptimizeMyLife, 9569-7173 Québec inc., and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, demands, proceedings, damages, losses, liabilities, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of this AUP or the Terms of Service; (b) your misuse of the Service; (c) content, accounts, or data you submit, connect, or process through the Service; (d) your infringement or violation of any law or of any third party's rights; or (e) your unauthorized sharing or loss of your FOX key.
13.3. This indemnity does not apply to the extent a loss is caused by our own gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or where it is prohibited or limited by applicable law, including the mandatory consumer-protection rules described in Section 15. Nothing in this Section requires a consumer to indemnify us beyond what the law of their jurisdiction permits.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
14.1. As stated in the Terms of Service, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of Félix's output. This is reinforced, not replaced, by this AUP.
14.2. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OptimizeMyLife and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any loss arising from your reliance on Félix's output, from a third-party service you connected, or from another person's use of your FOX key. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the total amount you paid to OptimizeMyLife in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater — subject to anything that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law and to your mandatory consumer-protection rights (see Section 14.3 and Section 15).
14.3. Nothing in this AUP or the Terms of Service excludes or limits any liability, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including under Québec's Consumer Protection Act and other mandatory consumer-protection legislation. Where such a law applies, the disclaimers and limits in this Section apply only to the extent that law allows, and your mandatory rights remain fully in force.
15. Dispute resolution and your consumer rights
15.1. Governing law. This AUP is governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, subject to any mandatory rules that apply where you live.
15.2. Talk to us first. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us at support@optimizemylife.ai so we can try to resolve the matter directly. Most issues can be settled quickly this way.
15.3. Courts. Subject to Section 15.5, any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the courts of the Province of Québec, judicial district of Saint-François, and you and we submit to the jurisdiction of those courts — subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence, which may give you the right to bring proceedings before the courts where you live.
15.4. Time limit to bring a claim. To the extent permitted by law, any claim or action arising out of or relating to the Service or this AUP must be brought within one (1) year after the event giving rise to it, except where mandatory law (including consumer-protection law) provides a longer period, in which case that longer period applies.
15.5. Your protected rights come first. Nothing in this Section, and nothing elsewhere in this AUP, removes, waives, or reduces any right you have as a consumer under mandatory law. In particular, if Québec's Consumer Protection Act applies to you, you keep your right to bring your dispute before the courts of Québec and to participate in a class action, and any clause in this AUP is read down so as not to deprive you of that right. Consumers in other jurisdictions likewise keep the rights their local consumer-protection and privacy laws guarantee.
16. Language / Langue
16.1. The English version of this AUP is the governing version, and a French version is provided.
16.2. For consumers in Québec: in accordance with the Charter of the French language (Bill 96), a French-language version of this AUP is made available to you. If there is a divergence between the English and French versions that concerns a mandatory consumer right, the interpretation most favourable to the consumer prevails.
17. Changes to this Policy
As the product grows and the law evolves, we may update this AUP. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated AUP. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the Service and, if you wish, cancel your plan as described in the Terms of Service.
18. How this fits together, and how to reach us
This AUP is incorporated into and governed by our Terms of Service, including its governing-law, disclaimer, and limitation-of-liability sections, and should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited under the mandatory consumer-protection, privacy, or other laws that apply where you live.
